Universum. Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is published by the Institute of Humanistic Studies "Juan Ignacio Molina" at the University of Talca. Its objective is to stimulate reflection and discussion around original research conducted both nationally and internationally. Its lines of research focus exclusively on the Visual Arts, Philosophy, History, and Literature for the Humanities. Regarding the Social Sciences, the journal's lines of research encompass those linked to the Humanities: Cultural and Social Anthropology (Ethnography); Political Science in direct relation to History and/or Philosophy; Sociology of Art, Science, Knowledge, Culture, Education, Gender, Reading, Literature, Social Movements, and Politics. Universum welcomes articles and bibliographic reviews in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
